Jimmy Gownley

 

The New York Times Best-Selling cartoonist of the hit graphic novel series Amelia Rules!, Jimmy Gownley has 13 Eisner Award Nominations (the comic industry's “Oscar”) to his name, including nods for best kid's comic, best single issue, coloring and lettering. He has also won four Junior Library Guild awards and was the winner of the 2006 Cybil Award for best graphic novel. His newest graphic novel THE DUMBEST IDEA EVER! is due out from Scholastic in 2014.  Jimmy divides his time between Harrisburg, PA and Bangor, Maine.
